My new Sisters tattoo, done by Lydia at Ancient Arts in Arcata. Both of my younger sisters either have, or are getting, the infinity symbol with the hearts, but I customized mine with their birthstone colors. The ladybug is also a common theme throughout my immediate family's tattoos, and the treble clef is, well, me.
On May 8, 2010, Bret Bailey (of The Common Vice and formerly Que La Chinga) played on Monica's show, in anticipation of The Solitary Men's (a Neil Diamond tribute) debut show at Nocturnum that night. Here is audio from the interview and three songs: 1) Solitary Man, 2) Shilo, 3) Cherry Cherry.
Martian Bishop and Rico of Eyes Anonymous came into the KSLG studio to play a couple of songs as a sort of Rutabaga Ball preview, on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Rutabaga Royalty (Queens and Princesses of the Kinetic Grand Championship) love Eyes Anonymous, and Eyes Anonymous appear to love them back. For the Glory!
Here's their performance, which included three songs: 1) Flock of Seagulls - I Ran, 2) Crowded House - Don't Dream It's Over, 3) Billy Idol - White Wedding
