Live Broadcast From Snowy Arcata

This Saturday [11/3/12] Pacific Outfitters is dropping 20,000 lbs of snow at 7th and G streets in Arcata for Rail Jam 2012. It’s the biggest snowboard & winter sports event of the year!

Local snowboarders will start at the top of the 12-foot Deadman’s Drop-in, pick up speed, and try to ride one of two elevated rails without wiping out. Warm-ups start at noon and competition is from 2 til 4. KSLG will broadcast live from Rail Jam from 12pm-3pm.

The 'best rider' gets a new snowboard; 'best style' gets a newsnowboard jacket, and 'best wipe-out' gets a new helmet!
