Bring Google's High-Speed Internet to Humboldt!

 According to the Redwood Tech Consortium: 

Humboldt Bay (a collaboration between, Arcata, Eureka and Humboldt County) has submitted a proposal to Google's Fiber Project that promises to bring 1 GB fiber to 50,000 - 500,000 homes in one or more communities. The effort was spearheaded by Gregg Foster of RREDC who also put together agreat resource site to support the proposal. This site will continue to grow and serve as a repository of broadband efforts support materials for future proposals whetner we are chosen or not.
